We are people first
Having a people-first approach is all about prioritising the employee experience and wellbeing. That’s why we have trained 30 staff to become Mental Health First Aiders, including our CEO. We communicate our complete business goals and objectives with every company member. We want our colleagues to feel good about being themselves in a workplace where diversity is accepted, embraced, championed, and celebrated. That’s why we drive meaningful and diverse opportunities to invite employee feedback and push our business forward in all areas.
Staff Numbers & Goals
Although we have over 230 employees, we value every individual and appreciate the consistent efforts they have given Filshill over the years. We recognise individuals’ achievements each year with a Celebration Lunch and Certificate ceremony, celebrating staff with 10, 20, 30 and even 40 years of service.
We have longer retention rates among staff by creating a people-first workplace, offering career advancement opportunities, paying competitive rates, recognising and appreciating hard work, and encouraging a healthy work-life balance. We always make sure that having fun is at the heart of what we do.
