The Legacy Begins

Founded in 1875 in Glasgow, Scotland, J.W. Filshill began as a small, family-run wholesale and grocery distributor serving local communities. Over the years, the company has grown into one of the UK’s leading wholesale distribution firms by blending tradition with innovation. Staying family-owned and committed to core values of putting people first, Filshill has expanded its offerings while embracing modern logistics and technology to remain competitive in the ever-evolving market.

From Local Beginnings to Industry Leaders

The expansion of products and ability to adapt to market demands over the years allowed Filshill to grow from a small-scale operation into a major supplier, and in the early 2000’s with the introduction of the symbol fascia group KeyStore. This expansion ensured that Filshill remains competitive and relevant in the ever-evolving retail landscape.
